Kimberly L. Hooey

Ms. Hooey joins us from The Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey. She has been playing the violin for over 30 years and is currently involved in many other chamber ensembles and string quartets. Mrs. Hooey's professional performances also include The Boston Early Music Festival (2007), Summer Festival of Baroque Music (2006-07) and VivaldiFest (2006-07).

Ms. Hooey has taught the Strings Program at several local high schools and has continued to teach privately for years. Her focus is to enrich her students' lives through music. By using the Suzuki Method, she employs a joyful style of teaching that encourages parental involvement and support.

Ms. Hooey currently resides in Lafayette, NJ with her husband and two children. She is also a Registered Nurse.
