Laura Pondiscio

Laura's passion for fine arts has always been inspired by her unique view of natural beauty. Light, rich colors and playful shadows are all ways she communicates to her audience nature's secrets and mysteries.

Her creative gifts were apparant at a very young age. As a child, she would spend hours honing her craft with simple scraps of paper and colored pencils.

Laura was a fine art studing majoring in Illustration and Advertising Design at F.I.T. in New York City. She worked as a Graphic Artist and Illustrator for many years with major advertising firms. In addition to her career, she continued enhancing her water-colors skills and stayed connected to the art community in and around northern New Jersey. Organizational involvement included the Bloomfrield Art League, Montclair Art Museum, and The Livingston Art Association.

Presently Laura resides in Sussex County with her husband and four children. She continues to freelance and produce fine works of art out of her home based studio.

She forms an integral part of our Art staff, and she specializes in the teaching of art to adults. She can be contacted at the school for lessons.
