Biryukov Academy

Our teachers introduce your children to the joys of music with Beethoven Bear and Mozart Mouse. Together they explore rhythm, melody, notes, and scales. The environment is fun and filled with music, singing, hand clapping and miniature instruments designed to ignite your child’s musical imagination. Instruction is given in both violin and piano.

This 45 minute class is separated into musical grade levels. The student’s all have a great time learning to read and write music in a group setting. This gives the students the opportunity to not only learn the needed music theory but to interact with other music students of the same level. Ear training is introduced in this class. Private ear training sessions are available as well.

The vocal program is integral to the Music department's performances as well as harmony and theory programs. Students are encouraged to participate in the recitals and shows the Academy produces nearly monthly, but are not required to do so. Vocal training builds self confidence and gives student’s the edge in performing and public speaking. Children from ages 5-12 learn singing technique and ear training. For students of 12 years or older, our vocal department begins Bel Canto methods which are designed to bring the voice to its full potential.
