In summation, a "stay in your seat and be quiet" attitude is encouraged. The fact that different kids learn differently is ignored in our educational system.

An effective solution to this problem is the active engagement on routine basis of the right brain in activities such as art and music. These activities develop creativity, associations, and the ability to see more than just the obvious. Humans use both right and left parts of their body to be skilled and successful. Why not develop symmeterical functions of both brain parts to create a foundation for your child's success? It is well known that we use less than 10% of our estimated brain potential for our everyday living. Imagine the kind of results we could achieve if we fully utilize what we were given by nature!
